Student Ministry

As a Youth Group, we're devoted to raising up students who love Jesus Christ, study the scriptures, value community, serve those in need, share the gospel, and continue to stand firm in their faith after high school. The teenagers in our midst are spiritually thriving and unashamedly inviting their friends to participate in the fellowship of our Youth Group.

Don't let your teenager miss out on a weekend of adventure, engaging God's Word and connecting with good friends. Our guest speaker is Eric Tucker, whom the students know from the summer missions trip. The cost is $95, and friends are free with promo code Friends2022.

Service Projects & Mission Trips

Our students seek to serve the Pittsburgh area throughout the year by partnering with local organizations such as World Vision and Living Ministry.

Every July, a group of students and adult leaders embarks on a week-long mission trip that focuses on serving the needy and spreading the good news of Jesus. In the past, we've traveled to cities such as Providence and Chicago. We're currently partnered with the River of Life Church of God in Alderson, WV.

Weekend retreats are a vitally important component of our ministry calendar. We spend a weekend at Ligonier Camp and Conference Center in the fall. We join with other EPC youth groups for the EPIC Retear during the winter at Beulah Beach, OH.

We encourage our students to learn more about membership at NPC and prayerfully consider becoming confirmed or adult members (depending upon age). Check out our Membership page.

We believe that the parents are the primary spiritual nurturers of their children. Therefore, we want to help & assist them in their role. We seek to give regular updates to parents, including:

  • Ministry Opportunities
  • Resources
  • Classes
  • Encouragement
