My first real encounter with Jesus was on the field of Three Rivers Stadium at a Billy Graham crusade when I was ten years old. I don’t remember much about it other than the fact that, in the end, I knew that I was a sinner in need of a Savior. It wasn’t until high school, when I was involved in my youth group that I began living out my faith. At this time, I also began digging deeper into theology thanks to a great mentor named Rick Reynolds. I continued my walk and study of theology at Cedarville University. Still, after graduating and reading the book “God’s Greater Glory” by Bruce Ware, I began to hold to the Reformed view of Scripture. This influence eventually led me and my family to North Park Church. My path hasn’t always been in a straight line, but it has always been in the direction of the cross.
