There is a song that regularly comes to my mind…When I think about Jesus and all He’s done for me I can dance…I can shout…I can sing…all night, all night, all night! I was adopted at six months by a loving, stable, devoted to Jesus couple. Although I was raised going to church every week and on special occasions, I did not get born again until I was in college and suffering the consequences of many bad decisions. I fell on my face in my apartment and apologized to God for not doing a good job managing my life, acknowledged that I was a sinner in need of a Savior, and I asked Jesus into my heart as my Lord. Making Jesus the Lord of my life changed my life forever. I love His Word, people, and love telling others what Jesus has done for me. I no longer have IBS and never developed diabetes, and I did not die from end-stage cancer. Jesus is my Healer. He is my Protector. His is my ever-present help in time of need. He doesn’t love me more than you (Romans 2:11). What He has done for me, He can do for you.
