Our Mission

Assisting parents in developing children who genuinely love God (WORSHIP), love each other (CONNECT), and love the world (IMPACT).

Sunday School

Children ages 3 through 5th grade are invited!  This ministry runs Sunday mornings from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. from September through May.  Classes on the second & third floor.

Our curriculum for younger children (Walk With Me) is faithful to Scripture and FUN!  Our lessons are designed to engage different types of learners and keep them interested.

For 3rd through 5th grade children we have a small group type Sunday school setting. The children are seperated into boy and girl classes and use various curriculum that encourages small group discussion & prayer and prepares them for the transition into Student Ministry classes.

Children and Worship

c & w

This ministry is offered during the 10:15 a.m. service from September through May. Children ages 4 through 2nd grade attend worship with their parents and are then dismissed before the offering.

Children are led in worship through songs, prayer, and Bible stories from the exciting & unique Children and Worship method (Children & Worship). This method was developed to encourage children to worship God through hands-on techniques and invites them to experience the wonder and mystery of God through storytelling and multi-sensory materials.

Our goal is to nurture spiritual growth in children and to prepare them for the regular worship service.

Sherlock's Adventure (Summer  2013 Camp)

June 23-30, 2013

NPC welcomes you to an exciting week of camp you won't forget! We welcome kids ages 4 through entering 6th grade (in the fall) to learn about God.

Parents

We believe that the parents are the primary spiritual nurturers of their children.  Therefore, we want to help & assist them in their role.  We seek to give regular updates to parents including: ministry opportunities, resources, classes, and encouragement.

Children's Baptism & Membership

As Presbyterians we view our children as essentially being part of the church family until such time as they may opt out by their own choices.  Click here to learn about baptism and children's membership at NPC.

Adult Leaders

We are always looking for godly adults who love God and desire to serve children & families.  There are many levels of involvement.  Contact Kim Brunner (kimbrunner@northparkepc.org) for opportunities to serve.
